Acceptable use policy

Use the service lawfully and in good faith, in a way that does not harm other users, third parties or the operation of the service itself.

• storing or processing unlawful content, or data obtained in breach of the law or of other people’s rights;
• infringing intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks and so on);
• sending spam, unsolicited bulk mail, or messages to recipients who have not consented;
• uploading or distributing malware, viruses or malicious scripts;
• attempting unauthorised access, circumventing protections, or testing for vulnerabilities without permission (see Data security);
• creating excessive load that interferes with the service, including automated denial-of-service attacks;
• scraping data outside the provided API or around its limits;
• impersonating another person or organisation, or misrepresenting the source of messages;
• reselling or giving third parties access to the service without our permission.

If you connect external channels (email, messengers) or the API, do not use them for spam or for sending to recipients who have not consented, and follow the rules of the platforms involved. The account owner is responsible for the content and lawfulness of what is sent.

If these rules are broken we may warn you, restrict or suspend access, and for serious or repeated breaches stop providing the service. Where there are lawful grounds, we may notify the competent authorities.
